DJ of the White Masquerade, 2012

In early 2012 a friend of mine convinced me to tag along and shoot a few pictures at a masquerade ball held at the Organ Loft in Salt Lake City. Though it was annoying that the event's organizer decided not to pay us for our time, I was still happy with some of the creative images I took from the somewhat debauched event, including this colorful portrait of the DJ. I'm guessing he got paid.

Holi Color, 2011

Funny enough, I got this incredibly colorful candid portrait of a young woman at the 2011 Holi Festival of Colors while she was posing for another photographer.

A Moment of Silence, 2015

In October of 2015 my mother and I took a trip to Ohio to attend a family reunion. She grew up in Cleveland, and while there we visited the cemetery where a few family members have been laid to rest. In this image, she's standing at the grave of my Uncle Denny, who died of cancer due to complications from the Agent Orange he was exposed to while serving in Vietnam.
