Shortly after attending my cousin's wedding in Coos Bay on a nice night in the summer of 2016, I drove down to nearby Bandon to see if there was anything to shoot off its scenic coast. I arrived just after sunset, but any disappointment from missing dramatic rays of light was easily blown away by the gorgeous melancholy blues and the jagged rocks that greeted me on the shoreline. I put this old stump in the foreground to make things a little more interesting.
