It's been great fun to watch (and record) the way each of my three nieces have asserted their personalities. I got this image of Niece #3 as part of a Christmas gift project, and couldn't have been happier to get an expression that truly embodied her young personality.
2016 was a great year for shooting, and two years after getting some of my all-time best images at the Salt Lake Temple, I returned and captured a little extra lighting in the clouds over Temple Square.
