Only days before starting my first semester of teaching at Weber State University, I took a last-fling-of-summer trip to San Diego, where I enjoyed photographing the iconic Scripps Pier in La Jolla.
In the spring of 2016 I set a goal to photograph six new LDS temples before my birthday, and in October, after shooting the Payson, Provo, Brigham City, San Diego, and Oquirrh Mountain temples, I made a final run up to Logan to get a few pictures of one of the church's oldest temples. This one felt extra special, after having attended grad school about a mile away at Utah State University, long before I ever started getting serious about photography.
I compiled this image from a sequence of shots I photographed across from the Bountiful LDS Temple in late 2016.
